Every qualifying part purchased from North Verde Auto Salvage on or after August 1, 2026 is backed by Pete's Promise, our Hassle-Free 6-Month Parts Warranty. We stand behind the quality of the parts we sell from our inventory, giving you added confidence with every purchase. For brokered parts, we honor the original vendor's warranty.

Please Note: Pete's Promise covers the replacement part only. Labor, towing, diagnostics, rental vehicles, and other incidental expenses are not covered.

Engines are sold and warrantied as long blocks only. Warranty coverage is limited to internal components of the engine itself. External components like water pumps, belts, gaskets and seals, hoses, wiring and electronics, fuel injectors and rails, etc are considered accessories and not covered.

All engines, transmissions, and transfer cases are drained of all fluids during dismantling. Transmissions are sold without filters.

KEEPING YOUR WARRANTY VALID

To maintain coverage under warranty, please follow proper installation procedures, including:

Replace all required fluids before operation
Replace transmission filter before use
Repair the cause of the original component failure
Install recommend service items such as gaskets and seals, thermostat, timing belt, water pump, filters, and spark plugs
Prime engine before initial startup
Follow manufacturer’s recommended installation procedures
Consult professional mechanics
All engines, transmissions, transfer cases and major components will be sold with heat tabs. If heat tabs are missing or melted, warranty coverage is void.
